i watched 200 pounds beauty yesterday! ha! not in the movies of course...but on you tube! considered the best korean movie...the most meaningful one of all that i've watched.
oh and i had a dream last night, that i went back home(sg) and in my dream, it was on last Friday. The memory of it is rather vague, as you know, ur dreams are most vivid at the moment you woke up. So i just remembered me goin home on last Friday. I recall telling mum that i have to go back on tuesday because i have a poster presentation on wednesday plus my exams are ard the corner. Somehow, the scene switched (or mayb i cant rem why the transition) to me and two other friends whom i'm quite positive that i don't know them in real life but are my friends in the dream. I was laughing at some identity card that one of them was holding and laughing so hard. I don't remember what triggered that laughter but i just remembered a name on the card which says "ann kok".
hahaha...Strange combi in this dream. haha.. no meaning to it. I think i'm homesick, but not so homesick enough to be homesick. What am i talking about. haha.
In library now trying to figure out the bioinformatics questions.

Microbio is 9 of june 07. It's already bad that it is on a saturday. To make it worse, it's at 5:45pm! it'll already be dark when i walk out of my house to sch-_-.
cant go ft too...dcs is flying over from melb so there'll be ban dao that night..i sooo want to bring friends over but i cant:( .
Immuno: it's on wed so that's fine but at 8am. I think i might just be half awake then..haha.

Lack of posts recently due to pressing deadlines. Hope to get everything done this wk in order to start my studying next wk...hav advanced immuno paper on 12 June. It should be my first paper. I don't know when exactly are the other papers cuz the timetables are not released yet.
So this few days are just school and home...i spent ard 13 hrs in sch for mon n tue! ha..partly it's because of my (slow) internet speed at home...and today is the first day of our another new month of internet usage. Hope we'll be able to last long, or else u really cannot imagine how slow it has been going at. haha. Sometimes the page cant even be displayed!
Quite happy today that i've got back the normal speed internet. Plus Wing and i made the white sauce on spaghetti again! haha..it was so nice that we decided to make it everywk!(v fattening though) We didnt use spaghetti today..had those fettucine for a change..it tasted really fantastic, especially with the sauce! I deemed it as the best white sauce that we have ever made..haha! Nothing special in it but it was really yummy. The ingredients were only butter(alot..haha), cheese, mushroom, flour, milk, water, salt, pepper and corn which we tried putting in today. I think the sweetness of the corn definitely has some effect on the sauce. :D:D
Life has been pretty much mundane lately, so might be mia-ing for some time. Lots of work to do. Will update again when i can..till then, take care everyone! :)

anyway, went job hunting with nicole today....passed in a few resumes to different shops and they'll call us if we're selected i think. I'm also thinking on the option of volunteering in the sch labs which i think might be more useful to me...will try to e-mail the lecturers about it.
Am waiting for the exam timetable to be released. It's only 3 wks to exams and the dates are still not out yet....UNSW's and Uni of Melb's timetable's out last wk already. Sian.
It's starting to get really cold especially at night. The gusts of winds really chill you down ur spine...i very much afriad it'll be freezing during winter since it's only autum now...I prefer the hot weather to the cold....hope it'll not be unbearably cold.

Saw something rather funny at coles (supermarket) today. I was browsing through on what i need to buy when i spotted this cute old lady staring peculiarly at something amongst the tray thingy in the fruits section. As i was just passing by, she had already lifted her vision off the thing thatand went back to her shopping. Being the Kaypo (haha), i took a quite glance at what she was looking so strangely at. And guess what it was. It was a 20 cents coin! the funny part is that it was a singapore 20 cents coin! hahaha...i was secretly laughing to myself when i saw that..cuz upon the first look, i thought it looked familiar. It was the head part of the coin, with the two lions on it. I just think it was quite funny...of all the coins...it was a singapore currency...haha.. i think the old lady is trying to make out what country's currency is that..haha..but she's really cute:)
Letting loose a little lately...mayb it's those normal post exam syndrome..haha...but i cant let this last for too long...finals are ard the corner... Must study!!
I'm still not too used to this orangey light of my room. It says to make ur eyes feel comfortable but i personally think it's too comfortable that i always feel sleepy at night..haha...although it's better now than when i first moved in.
It has been getting rather cold. Streets were not as dry as before when i woke up in the morning which indicate signs of rain. It's good, having some rain around here when it has been dry for the past don't know how many months. Seems like the gloomy weather brings along unluckiness. Got a few bad news recently too. :(

long weekend last wk cuz it was labor day ytd..ha... over at granduncle's place on sat.
Went ft in the morning of Sunday and to the city afterwards to shop for josephine's bday pressie and also mother's day gift. Got what we wanted and went to the buddha's birth day festival after that..
it was soooo nice! haha...there were carnival and the best thing is the food! haha..it's like walking along those night markets of taiwan! the food were like those of the night markets too! so u can imagine how excited i was..haha...cuz i can eat everything there! ha..they were rather overpriced though but i bought quite a bit of food.ha..

my internet is going at snail speed. Appears that we have been over our limit for the internet, causing it to be at 56k speed. I haven used 56k for like so many years..haha..soooo not used to it. I practically have to leave the page there for it to load while doing other stuff. Will just have to make do with the 56k till the 16th of the month. it's quite difficult to do my assignments with this..will just have to go to school to get my work done.
On a lighter note, i'll be going to this Buddha Birth Day Festival tmr night! ha..i got no idea why they seperate the 'birth' and the 'day'. The celebration commenced since ytd and it's a three day event. There'll be performances and food fair! haha..so exciting right??!! haha
And there'll be fireworks too! So will be goin down with wing and josephine to take a look..
oh and i watched cinderella 3 ytd on dvd...haha...i like the movie...it's a sequel to the normal cinderella. The plot goes like this: it all started with cinderella living happily with the prince while the stepsisters are working as dishwashers. The stepmother then happen to got hold of the magic wand which the fairy godmother dropped so with the wand, she turned back time to the moment when the duke is reaching her house for the women in that house to try out on the glass shoe. She used magic to get everything her way, until her daughter was almost married to the prince. But her(the daughter) conscience held her back and so she decided to stop what she was doing. And so cinderella married the prince and they lived happily ever after.....again. haha...quite a nice movie i think, light hearted, and happy ending.
alrighty, feel like snuggling up under my warm blanket now. have a great weekend like i did, everyone!:D and ending this post with yet, another quote which caught my eye while on the bus. I think it was a sch motto or smth cuz it's on a sign post thingy in the sch:
